Georgette Wong, CEO of Correlation Consulting and CEO of the Take Action! Impact Investing Conference Series will present an overview on “impact investments,” investments that create both financial returns and social or environmental benefits. Over the last five years, Georgette has specialized in impact investments that create market-rate or above financial returns, and has convened asset owners and others with a combined total of $4.5 trillion in capital. She will discuss how this style of investing impact differentiates itself from other investments and why investment in impact is relevant. She will discuss key players and the evolution of the field, including her most recent research on foundations, pension plans, corporations, development finance institutions and wealthy families. The results of this study will be announced in the fall at events hosted by the US State Department and the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment.
