Have you been told that you need to be more visible at work? Speak up more in meetings? Perhaps you were recently passed over for a promotion or raise you felt you deserved? Or maybe you just feel as though your peers are passing you by.

Most women hit points in their career where they feel stalled, passed over or underpaid. Why? Research indicates that one of the most powerful reasons is that we don’t do a good enough job promoting ourselves i.e.talking about our achievements, networking with powerful others in the organization and taking credit where credit is due.

Join GU (C/SLL’91) Alumna Nancy Joyce as she takes you through the Art of Authentic Self Promotion.  Nancy will inspire you with:

 The latest research on why it’s important to promote yourself at work and what you stand to lose if you don’t.
 Strategies for building your self promotion story and techniques for sharing your stories that are proven to work for women in the workplace
 The importance of asking for feedback and speaking up in meetings.
 Simple ways to reach out to powerful leaders in your organization or industry.

Prior to starting Joyce Advisors, Nancy spent over 20 years as an executive in the technology and Internet industries working with such companies as Apple Computer, Doubleclick (now Google) Digitas and Gilt Groupe in both the U.S. and Europe.
