Do you have an idea for a consumer goods product but not sure how or where to begin? What are the next steps from that “a-ha” moment to validating your idea in the marketplace, product development, packaging, channel strategy, pricing and PR/marketing strategy? And how to fund your idea when you are ready for production and distribution? Join fellow alumna Christy Prunier (C’90) to understand the steep learning curve of her entrepreneurial journey as a former Hollywood film executive whose daughter Willa inspired her to create a line of natural skincare products for girls.

Founder and CEO Christy Prunier has spent 4 years developing willa. After identifying a white space in the marketplace, she conceived and executed a 17 SKU line of natural skincare products for girls. Christy has led product development as well as secured distribution in major retail channels including Target, JCrew, Harrods and Henri Bendel without any sales support. Before launching willa, Christy had a nine year career in Hollywood serving most recently as Senior Vice President of Phoenix Pictures where she worked with producer Mike Medavoy and developed feature films including Black Swan.
