This webinar will cover the basics on how to successfully break into the PR industry. Marie Wiltz (C’97), Vice President and Senior Media Specialist at Ketchum Public Relations, will review the best internships, activities, and classes that will add the most value to your resume for a career in public relations. Marie will also provide tips on how to both find and make the most of internships and positions that will translate to the PR world. Participants will learn what a typical day is like for a PR executive, and also current industry trends. A Q&A session will follow. Both alums and students are invited to this special webinar!

Marie Wiltz (C’97) professional career includes a White House internship in the second Clinton Administration, Peace Corps work in Panama, several marketing and communications positions at JPMorgan Chase, Gavin Anderson, and most recently, Ketchum Public Relations. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Honors English from Georgetown University, and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University.
