This webinar will focus on the new world paradigm of independent consulting as a career choice, not simply a transitory professional state. Caroline Weinstein and Laura Klein of Business Talent Group will discuss trends in the independent consulting marketplace and share ideas for how you can best capitalize on them. Additionally, they will provide some ideas to help effectively market and grow your independent consulting practice and then, successfully execute for your clients. Caroline and Laura will address the following topics in detail:

• Building and expanding your independent consulting practice
• Tenants of success as a top tier consultant
• Best practices for delivering outstanding value to clients

Caroline Langsdorf Weinstein has served in a variety of marketing and strategy roles. Most recently, she worked at Neuberger Berman, an investment management firm in New York City. There she was responsible for marketing separately managed accounts to high net worth individuals. She also worked on strategic initiatives and special projects for the Private Asset Management organization, working closely with senior management to help determine the future direction of the business. Previously, Ms. Weinstein worked at Goldman Sachs. Ms. Weinstein holds a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelors degree from Dartmouth College.

Laura Klein has over 15 years of experience in consulting, strategy, and business development roles. She has completed numerous consulting engagements, first as a consultant at Bain & Company and later as an independent consultant. In addition, Ms. Klein founded and managed a business unit at Mainspring (sold to IBM), a fast-growing consulting firm focused on incorporating new technology to enhance business strategy. She ran the retained-client relationship business and developed a community of the 100 Fortune 500 clients. Ms. Klein graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
