Faced with challenges unimaginable pre-baby, new mothers inevitably return to work a different person than when they went out on leave. If you are expecting a child or managing a new parent, join this important conversation with Lori Mihalich-Levin (L’05), working mother and founder of Mindful Return.

This session will teach new mothers practical and effective strategies for planning their return to work after maternity leave so that they can ease their concerns and fears about the transition, focus on their babies, and make calm and thoughtful choices. Lori will also offer insights and strategies for employers and managers to support their employees and direct reports successfully transition back to work.

The webinar will focus specifically on areas that can have the most positive impact on new mothers’ transitions, including:

• Creating a mindful mindset for returning to work;
• Mapping out logistics, including child care, nourishing your baby, and dealing with sick days and the unexpected;
• Turning maternity leave into a leadership opportunity at work; and
• Building supportive communities to help with the transition.

Lori also will be giving away two free registrations to new mothers for her Mindful Return e-course. To be eligible for this drawing, answer one of the following questions:

•What is your biggest concern about transitioning back to work after maternity leave?
•What message would you like to communicate to your employer about your transition?

E-mail answers to Lori at If selected, you will receive a free registration in the e-course session of your choosing (the next one begins May 11).

Lori Mihalich-Levin (L’05) founded the Mindful Return blog and e-course to help new moms navigate their transition back to work after maternity leave.
