Hear from Business Leadership Coach, John Keyser (C’59) & John Fontana, management consultant & also Director of the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown’s Program for Social Ethics in Business as they discuss how the Jesuit values & traditions relate to life after Georgetown, & how the values & traditions can continue to help you in your everyday work & career. Keyser & Fontana will also discuss how the Jesuit ideals relate to highly effective leadership principles & how to translate this into your own career. Included in the discussion will be the importance of specific leadership & business success qualities such as the self-awareness & a genuine caring for others. A Q&A component will be included.

John Keyser currently works with executives who recognize the need & have a passion for striving for continuous improvement, their own & their company’s. In his coaching practice, he works with executives from CEOs to up-&-comers, helping them become even better at what they do & in their leadership of others—becoming their best selves! Keyser has had a long career as a senior executive with Johnson & Higgins, then after a merger, with Marsh & McLennan. Keyser is a Georgetown University liberal arts graduate & also a graduate of the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Program. John Fontana is the Director of the Woodstock Theological Center’s Arrupe Program in Social Ethics for Business. He is also President of Fontana Leadership Development, an organizational leadership development consulting firm. Prior to this, Fontana served as Executive Director of Crossroads Center for Faith in Work at Old St. Patrick’s Churchin Chicago, Director of Sales & Marketing for Kamco Plastics, Inc., & he worked for Morrison Associates, a psychiatric consulting firm. Fontana received his BA from the College of the Holy Cross, MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University & a Masters in Religious Education from Loyola Chicago. For the last 4 years, he has taught at GU’s Executive Masters in Leadership Program.
