Tired of the same old business books on how to grow a business or advance your career? Learn how to immediately understand, use, and apply military principles and techniques used by the Army Green Berets, the Navy SEALs, and other Special Operations Forces (SOF) to build a robust business and a successful career. This webinar will teach participants with and without military experience how to understand and immediately apply five (5) military special operations techniques to their business and career planning. Presented by Chad Storlie (MBA’02), Senior Business Director of the Union Pacific Railroad and retired US Army Reserve Special Forces officer.

Chad Storlie (MBA’02) has had a distinguished career in both military and civilian service. Chad is a retired US Army Reserve Special Forces officer with over 20 years of service in infantry, special forces, and joint headquarters units. He has served in Iraq, Bosnia, Korea, and throughout the United States. He has been awarded the Bronze Star, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Special Forces Tab, and the Ranger Tab. Chad is a mid-level marketing executive and has worked in marketing and sales roles for various companies, including General Electric, Comcast, and Manugistics. In his spare time, Chad has taught marketing at Creighton University, developed Combat Analytics—a counterinsurgency assessment process—and written articles that have been published in the Harvard Business Review blog, Oxford Leadership Journal, and several military journals. Chad holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from Georgetown University. Chad advises Afterburner, Inc as a Military Transition Specialist in the EMBED Division to teach and assist transitioning military personnel how to apply military skills to their next careers. Chad has also authored two books: “Combat Leader to Corporate Leader: 20 Lessons to Advance Your Civilian Career” and “Battlefield to Business Success: Applying Military Leadership Skills in Your Career".
