Many steps are involved in securing a job abroad. If that is your goal, you’re likely thinking about how best to go about finding the job. Most of us don’t consider what lies beyond that: the job itself. This webinar will discuss what it is like to work in a foreign office overseas with expatriates and local staff. We will also touch on the differences between a CV and resume to help you prepare job applications for positions abroad.

Marcelle Yeager (C’02) worked in Moscow, Russia for an American company and a Russian firm and in Tashkent, Uzbekistan at the U.S. Embassy. She also spent a year studying in St. Petersburg, Russia and Budapest, Hungary. Her career in strategic communications includes several years at a Washington, D.C., consulting firm working with international clients and time as a federal government consultant. Marcelle currently runs Career Valet, which helps clients develop CVs, resumes, cover letters and interviewing skills and transition into the next phase of their careers
